Emirates Oil Company manages their customer records with ECM..

Behind the Dubai’s financial phenomenal growth is the Emirates National Oil Company. It highlights every facet of development in the emirates and has clients ranging from the military bases to the big-name manufacturing agencies across the globe and the town.

          ENOC first began investigating "Enterprise content management"(ECM) for one of its subsidiaries. This company was facing hard times to manage their customer records and to save them in correct place. They serve 75 million customers each year through their network of even more than 170 ENOC /EPPCO service stations across UAE.  And they didn’t have any way to organize their customer documents. By implementing Laserfiche to store customer requested documents and data and then automate the approval data processes of its fuel card because of which they faced a very important advantage that the card marketing department was able to deliver much faster customer service. Laserfiche software enterprise content management proved to be very useful for this oil company and helped them to manage everything properly in a method and secured their customer documents electronically and the service was much faster.

Similarly, the use of laserfiche spread beyond EPPCO to a number of departments with ENOC. Mohan Narayan, manager of planning and performance management in ENOC’s IT department, has estimated that ENOC realized a full return on its laserfiche investment in just 8 months.

ECM has proved to be useful in many other aspects excluding this oil company example.
