During the migration from Laserfiche 7 to Laserfiche 9, a
country chesterfield decided to move on for some older repositories. Here are
some examples of what a repository contains related to technology purchases and
it was recognized by laserfiche workflow and "ECM" innovation.
= Goals and challenges:
The country
faced many challenges before the reorganization could take place, they came to
know many of the older records were missing and many had incomplete meta data. When
this repository was created, it was meant to store only one document, as a
result all the remaining documents were saved in the root folder, and many
other types of documents were also added creating confusion.
Therefore, the country decided to create a hierarchy of
folders based on documents to accommodate the different types of documents that
needed to be stored.
Implementation of laserfiche workflow:
Laserfiche workflow moves the documents into the new folder, it
searches for the most appropriate and applicable records and routes them to a particular
folder depending on the volume of how much meta data is completed. Documents with
complete meta data are moved to the correct “status” folder within the new
folder structure. However, documents with no meta data or missing something
will remain in the folder “no metadata “ , in case of organizing very old folders meta data is not very specifically
changed or added.
Laserfiche provides the best “Enterprise content management”
software in order to organize new folder structures or the typically old ones
to their specifies places or areas, usage of laserfiche software’s will give an
advantage to companies in many ways possible.
